Taunton Flower Show encourages disabled visitors and provides various facilities to help them, and their carers, enjoy the best of the show
For 2021, for one year only, the show is being held on Castle Green. This is a level site and is wheelchair-friendly. There is no allocated visitor parking this year and you should use the usual public carparks.
The information below is not relevant for 2021 and only applies when we hold the show in Vivary Park.
There is level access to the entire park and various hard-surfaced pavements within the park. However, the greater proportion of the show is on mown grass. There are disabled toilet facilities around the park. In the event of prolonged rain, some areas of the park may become muddy or the grass may be slippery.
All blue badge disabled parking is in the nearer Member's car park - even if the disabled driver is not a member. This is next to the rear show entrance - near to the Arena.
Disabled visitors who are members will get their parking free as part of their Membership of the show. Apply For Membership
All disabled visitors parking at the show will be charged the normal parking rate, £10 per day, £3 after 4 pm. Parking is not free for disabled in our showground car parks but, unlike the regular car parking visitors, disabled parking is in the nearest car park to the show ground entrance.
Please ensure you bring your blue badge to gain access to the disabled parking car park area.
We have golf buggies available in the disabled parking area to ferry those less able to walk, to get over to the showground. If you need a mobility scooter at the show, please see further down this page.
Disabled adults can bring one carer with them free of charge when they pay a full adult price. Evidence of eligibility may be requested which may include a Blue Badge, a letter from a medical professional on NHS headed paper, or relevant benefit letter.

Disabled visitors needing assistance dogs will be allowed to bring their dog into the show ground.
All other dogs will NOT be allowed at the show.
We would strongly advise NOT to leave dogs in your cars whilst you attend the show - the weather is often very hot - and the TFS car park (for non disabled visitors) is quite a walk from the show ground - so you will not want to be walking back and forth to the car whilst visiting the show.
Mobility scooters are available from the Taunton Shopmobility centre. This is based on the first floor of Old Market Shoppers Multi-storey Car Park. There is direct access from the Old Market Centre via lifts. The centre is open 9.15am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Please see further information on the shopmobility website or telephone (01823) 327900.
