Park Accessibilty
Taunton Flower Show is held in Vivary Park. The park has level access with various hard-surfaced pavements. However, the greater proportion of the show is on mown grass such as the Competition and Floral marquees, as well as some traders. In the event of prolonged rain, some areas of the park may become muddy or the grass may be slippery. The show works hard to make sure that disabled visitors with walking aids/wheelchairs can access every area of the show.
There are disabled toilet facilities around the park. More information and locations can be found on our show map.
Showground Parking
The show has a number of blue badge disabled parking spaces available for members to pre-book. Details for booking these will be sent to members nearer to the Show.
The show aims to have some public disabled parking spaces available but will not release details until nearer the time. Keep an eye on the show facebook page for details.
Unfortunately the show is not able to hire mobility scooters on site but they can be hired from places around Taunton

Assistance Dogs
Disabled visitors needing assistance dogs will be allowed to bring their dog into the show ground. Please could you make it visible that the dog is an assistance dog to avoid confusion amongst visitors.
All other dogs will NOT be allowed at the show.
Vivary Park is a small showground and, in places paths and spaces are very narrow and can get very crowded at times, which makes it unsafe to have dogs in the showground. The show hires Vivary Park to put on Taunton Flower Show, and it must return it in a clean condition, which means volunteers would have to clear up after dogs. The volunteer directors do not feel it is right to ask people who have volunteered their time to do this. The show is also aware that, as a family friendly show, there are lots of children who are uncomfortable around dogs.
Please do NOT to leave dogs in your cars whilst you attend the show – the weather is often very hot.
