Important Road Closure information for Taunton Flower Show 2025

We are expecting the west area of Taunton to be busy with traffic due to the following roadworks. This may also impact traffic coming from Junction 25.

Junction 26 – Wellington

Junction 26 at Wellington is close from 16th June 2025 until Sept 2025. More information about the closure can be found here and the diversion details can be found here

Wales and West roadworks – A3065 Silk Mills/Mountway Rd

There are roadworks which will affect access to the Silk Mills Park and Ride. The Park and Ride will be diverted as well as part of the roadworks. If you are thinking of using the Park and Ride at Silk Mills, it may take you longer to get into town because of the diversion. There is an extra park and ride bus, in addition to the normal operating service, from Junction 25 so you may prefer to use that one instead.

Phase 3 Wales and West roadworks – 28th July until the 17th August
Silk Mills Road will be one way, heading from the A38 Wellington Road roundabout as far as the Mountway Road/Bishop’s Hull Hill junction traffic lights, where it reverts to two-way.

Mountway Road will be closed at the junction with Silk Mills. Exit and access will be via the Bus Gate, the Cameras will be switched OFF.
