Cars - Please use Park And Ride
Parking at the show is very limited. You are strongly advised to use one of the two Park and Ride services.
The Park and Ride service will operate from both locations on Friday and Saturday.
Friday services run between 6.40am and 7.30pm. Saturday services run between 8.30am and 6.40pm
The west side of town P&R is called Silk Mills and the east side of town, by Junction 25 M5, is called Gateway.
Unless you have a mobility issue, or intend to purchase large/heavy plants or products, please use the park and ride service. This will reduce congestion in the neighbouring residential areas next to the showground - the Show wishes to respect local residents as much as we can during the show. Thank you very much.
Taunton is accessible from both J25 and J26 on the M5, in Somerset, half way between Bristol and Exeter.
Use J26 if you are coming from the south - and head for Silk Mills Park and Ride (follow the signs).
Use J25 if you are coming from the north - and head for the Gateway Park and Ride.
Use the A358 if you are coming from the Yeovil direction - and head for the Gateway Park and Ride.
Use the A358 if you are coming from the Minehead direction - and head for the Silk Mills Park and Ride.
The Park and Ride buses will set down & pick up at the bottom of the High Street. It's a short walk, through the flat, pedestrianised High Street to the Vivary park entrance gates, to the showground. See a map of the Taunton Park and Ride bus routes, from the west side, to the town centre and out to the east side. Click here.
General information on Park and Ride can be found by clicking here.
Cars - Limited parking at the showground
The Show itself is in Vivary Park, Taunton, Somerset. The satnav post code you need is TA1 3QE.
There is a one way system in place for parking. during the show, you will see locally erected yellow signs telling you how to get to the show. As the park is in a residential and town centre area, we ask all visitors driving to the show to please follow the signs and any directions the stewards will give you, as you enter our car parking areas. Please respect all local residents and local streets and ONLY PARK IN DESIGNATED PARKING and not outside residents homes. Thank you.
The Ash Meadows car park is a 5 minute walk away - but over grass/fields - from the Mount Street entrance into the Showground. When parked, stewards will direct you on the route to access the show. If the weather hasn't been too good before the show, this ground can be wet.
TFS Car park charges are £10/day.
(If you arrive on or after 4pm, the car park charge will be £3/day. This reduction is in tandem with a lower 'on the gate' entry charge for visitors arriving at 4pm onwards. See the Tickets page for ticket pricing on the gate over the two days).
However, if possible, please use the Park and Ride services, listed above on this page.
Cars - Flower Show Members' Parking
Members are given free car parking, and can park firstly in the Taunton Deane Cricket ground which is close the rear entrance, and once full, in Ash Meadows car park.

Where Vivary Park Is in Taunton:
Vivary park is south central in Taunton, so very easy to get to from anywhere in the town centre. The park is located at the top of the High Street in Taunton. We have three pedestrian entrances into the Park for the show days, the main Town Gate entrance on Mary Street (opposite the end of the High Street), Wilton Gate via Fons Gorge, and a rear Mount Gate entrance, near Taunton Deane Cricket Club, off the bottom on Mount Street. Most pedestrian visitors arrive through the Mary Street gates, and most car travellers, once they park in our Ash Meadows car park, enter through the Mount Gate entrance.
A number of local and regional bus routes come to Taunton. Regional routes from local towns and villages arrive at the Taunton Bus station near the Museum in Tower Street. If you want to then walk to the Show, the most direct route is to walk down Tower Way, past the Castle hotel, through the arch onto North Street, one of the main shopping streets in town. Turn right, and head into the pedestrianised High Street. The Show is in Vivary park directly opposite the other end of the High Street. First bus website can be found here
The railway station is the other side of town. It is approximately a 15 minute walk from the station to the park. The route is down Station Road, along Bridge Street, then along North Street, cross over and through the pedestrianised High Street. Vivary park is at the top of the High Street. To obtain train times, please see the trainline.
If you want to walk from the Station to the Show, take a look at this walking route map : Walking Route Map
