Plans are well underway for this year’s Taunton Flower Show on 4th and 5th Aug and the charity organisers are thrilled to announce some new additions to this year’s Show. The competition schedule is available now and contains lots of exciting opportunities for seasoned competitors and novices to try their hand. They will also be partnering with the Rose Society again, with a variety of different classes to enter.

New for 2023 is the After-Show Networking Event, held after the Show closes on Friday with the aim of supporting and engaging with local businesses. Attracting about 17,000 visitors per year, the Show is the oldest event of its kind in the UK with a rich history rooted in the centre of Taunton. A spokesperson for Taunton Flower Show said “We are enthusiastic about supporting local businesses and are looking forward to giving the chance to enjoy the show whilst networking with others”

Tickets for the networking event can be purchased via the Sponsors page on their newly launched website and include entry to the show from 2pm and an invitation to a networking drinks reception after the Show at 6pm.

As well as the networking event, the charity organisers are launching the Artisan village to highlight and promote local designers, artists, makers and food traders, who can display their handmade and locally sourced products. Held in the previously named ‘Festival Village’ & alongside the main entertainment stage, it makes the Artisan Village a place to be at the 2023 Show.

Discounted tickets are now available for the Show, and memberships are offering increased additional benefits this year so consider purchasing early for a great day out and supporting this historic event.
