BELLMAN MEMORIAL STAGE
The Bellman Memorial Stage in the Floral Marquee offers an engaging programme of talks and demonstrations across both days, bringing together expert advice, practical inspiration and interactive sessions for gardeners of all levels. Our popular Gardeners’ Question Time will feature on both days, and Chris Hull will also be giving visitors the benefit of his expertise.
The stage is named after David and Luella Bellman, who were big supporters of Taunton Flower Show. The family continue to support the show through the involvement of Monkton Elm Garden Centre.

Chris Hull
Landscape Gardener, Horticulturalist and TV Presenter
Chris Hull is an award-winning landscape designer and BBC Garden Rescue presenter. Having recently won gold at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show, there is no one better placedto teach audiences the importance of a thoughtfully curated garden and how exactly totransform your green space into a sanctuary.
Friday 14:30 – Transforming Small Gardens on a Budget
Drawing on his experience as a designer and filming Garden Rescue, Chris will share practical ideas and clever design solutions for transforming small gardens without spending a fortune. Audiences are often surprised by just how much can be achieved on a tight budget with the right approach and creative thinking.
Saturday 11:00 – Design Doctor Drop-In
Visitors are encouraged to bring along measurements and reference photos of any problem areas in their gardens they’ would like advice on. This session will finish at 12:30pm
